Parenting with CF
Adults with cystic fibrosis (CF) are living longer and having children of their own, which is a testament to how far CF care has come in Canada. Being a parent is challenging, let alone being a parent while managing a complex medical condition. That is why Cystic Fibrosis Canada and our Adult Cystic Fibrosis Advisory Committee (ACFAC) is committed to providing more resources and support to adults with cystic fibrosis.
With the ACFAC we designed and developed the resource, Parenting When You Have Cystic Fibrosis, to help support you while being a parent and living with cystic fibrosis. As a complement to the resource, the ACFAC has also developed an activity book for children whose parents live with cystic fibrosis called Keepin’ It Rosy – When Your Parent has Cystic Fibrosis: An Activity Book. It is recommended that you print the activity book to fill in the activities and exercise.
